It seems a long time ago now (turn of the century) that Wes made this expedition to this hostile place of beauty and formidable challenges. We will miss Wes and the optimism and can do attitude he embodied.

Wes recently led an expedition to the iceberg known as B-15.  The iceberg, the size of Jamaica had broken off of the Antarctic continent and his team of explorers and scientists overcame tremendous obstacles to film it.

Wes went to Antarctica to explore the world's largest iceberg and the 28 degree waters under them.  He came back with exciting footage in state-of-the-art High Definition Television format.  Wes' expedition photos were featured in the December National Geographic.  The one Hour Kurtis HD TV production special was released in late Fall 2001.
